Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret prescriptions accurately and dispense medications in compliance with Ministry of Health (MOH) regulations.
• Provide patients with guidance on the correct use of medications, including potential side effects, precautions, and contraindications.
• Dispense over-the-counter (OTC) products, including vitamins, nutritional supplements, skincare, and general health care items.
• Prepare and maintain a list of stock shortages and place orders in accordance with the operational manual.
• Monitor inventory for products with short expiry dates or slow movement and take appropriate action.
• Adhere to pharmacy working hours, dress code, and safety protocols at all times.
• Communicate relevant operational and business-related information to the immediate manager to support business growth and profitability.
• Report any inappropriate behavior or actions by colleagues that may impact the company’s reputation or business operations.
• Ensure product pricing and barcodes are accurate and compliant with MOH and company policies.
• Accurately record all sales and other revenue transactions as per company policies and procedures.
• Return all unsold stock to its designated place before leaving the pharmacy at the end of the shift.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelors/Doctor of Pharmacy
• MOH license / Eligibility Letter
• Sound knowledge of Pharmacy
• Good communication skills in English & Arabic
• Disciplined and enthusiastic
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Computer knowledge / Software Proficiency
• Analytical skills and business skills
