Key Responsibilities
- Review and assess medical reports, case histories, diagnostics, and lab results to inform underwriting outcomes.
- Collaborate with clinical teams, actuaries, and claims professionals to evaluate medical risks and define policy terms.
- Apply and interpret underwriting protocols in alignment with TruDoc’s standards and global compliance frameworks.
- Deliver detailed risk assessments and recommendations for group and individual healthcare plans.
- Stay ahead of the curve on evolving medical trends, innovations, and potential health risk factors.
- Maintain meticulous documentation of assessments, decisions, and communications.
- Participate in regular case reviews and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Support pre-authorization reviews, claims evaluations, and eligibility for wellness and preventive care programs.
Minimum Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- A degree in science.
- 2–5 years of experience in clinical practice, healthcare administration, or underwriting.
- Strong analytical acumen and confident decision-making skills.
- Knowledge of insurance frameworks, healthcare delivery systems, and medical coding.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Proficiency with medical data systems and digital tools.
