Key Responsibilities

  • Review and assess medical reports, case histories, diagnostics, and lab results to inform underwriting outcomes.
  • Collaborate with clinical teams, actuaries, and claims professionals to evaluate medical risks and define policy terms.
  • Apply and interpret underwriting protocols in alignment with TruDoc’s standards and global compliance frameworks.
  • Deliver detailed risk assessments and recommendations for group and individual healthcare plans.
  • Stay ahead of the curve on evolving medical trends, innovations, and potential health risk factors.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation of assessments, decisions, and communications.
  • Participate in regular case reviews and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives.
  • Support pre-authorization reviews, claims evaluations, and eligibility for wellness and preventive care programs.

Minimum Requirements

What We’re Looking For

  • A degree in science.
  • 2–5 years of experience in clinical practice, healthcare administration, or underwriting.
  • Strong analytical acumen and confident decision-making skills.
  • Knowledge of insurance frameworks, healthcare delivery systems, and medical coding.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Proficiency with medical data systems and digital tools.
