Main Responsibilities
- Coach and develop your MSL team across four core accountability areas: Scientific Engagement, Insights Generation, Data Generation Support, and Internal Collaboration
- Co-create and execute Country Medical Plans aligned to medical priorities, leveraging all available MSL tools and resources
- Set and monitor individual and team performance goals, tracking metrics, budgets, and KPIs to ensure excellence in execution
- Build talent engagement and retention strategies through clear career pathways and personalized development plans
- Ensure MSLs maintain fair, balanced scientific exchanges with key external stakeholders through current clinical and scientific knowledge
- Lead insights generation activities, translating field observations into strategic insights that drive decision-making
- Facilitate communication of scientific and medical insights to cross-functional stakeholders and regional/global teams
- Ensure all compliance and governance processes are followed, including training requirements and regulatory adherence
About You
- Experience: 5 to 8 years Demonstrated experience leading and developing MSL or medical affairs teams, with a solid background in scientific engagement and field medical operations; prior experience as a senior MSL or team lead within a pharmaceutical or biopharma environment is expected for this manager role
- Soft and technical skills: Deep knowledge of healthcare systems, medical landscape, regulatory and payer environments; demonstrated agility in identifying critical tasks and resources; effective participation in multi-disciplinary teams; strong time management and coaching abilities
- Education: Medical, pharmacy, or postgraduate science degree required; postgraduate degree such as Masters or MBA is valuable
- Languages: Fluency in relevant local language(s) and English
