Job Description
A Medical Science Liaison (MSL) serves as a scientific expert and key point of contact between Jamjoom healthcare professionals, focusing on building relationships.
Responsibilities
- KOLs visits and reporting, sales target achievement
- Establish Relationships: build and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals to facilitate scientific exchange and gather insights on product usage and clinical practices.
- Provide Scientific Support: act as a scientific resource for internal teams and external stakeholders, offering detailed information about products, clinical data, and therapeutic areas.
- Conduct Presentations: deliver presentations and participate in discussions at medical conferences, advisory boards, and other professional gatherings to share knowledge and gather feedback.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: work closely with marketing and sales teams to ensure alignment on product messaging and strategy.
- Stay Informed: keep up to date with the latest guidelines, clinical trials, and developments in the therapeutic area to provide accurate and relevant information.
- As field-based job: MSL takes the accountability of execution of marketing plans, marketing activities in alignment with sales team.
- MSL will report to Sales Supervisors in their assigned territory and participates in the overall territory growth and achievement of cardiometabolic products.
Qualification & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience at the same position. preferred to be in Ophthalmology
- Additional certifications in relevant therapeutic or commercial fields are considered an advantage.
- Strong scientific background.
- Proven experience in the Saudi market is essential.
- KOL management and Engagement, ability to interpret scientific data.
- English, Arabic language
- Minimum 3 years as medical representative
- KSA work experience is required
