Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Medical Sales Specialist role based in Muscat. The Medical Sales Specialist will promote and sell a portfolio of medical devices and solutions to hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare facilities, focusing on building and maintaining strong relationships with healthcare professionals and decision-makers. Daily responsibilities include conducting product presentations and demonstrations, identifying customer needs, providing technical and product support, and following up on leads to drive sales growth. The role involves regular visits to healthcare institutions, managing a sales pipeline, preparing proposals and quotations, and negotiating terms in line with company guidelines. The Medical Sales Specialist will also monitor market trends and competitor activities, collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely deliveries and after-sales service, and maintain accurate records and reports using company systems.
Qualifications
- Strong Medical Sales and Hospital Sales skills, with experience promoting medical devices or healthcare solutions.
- Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to engage healthcare professionals and support long-term client relationships.
- Foundational understanding of Medicine or clinical environments to effectively discuss products with healthcare stakeholders.
- Proven ability in territory management, pipeline development, and meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Pharmacy, Business, or related discipline).
- Comfort working in hospitals and clinical settings, with strong presentation and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic CRM tools to manage customer data and reporting.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within Muscat and surrounding areas as required.
- Prior experience in the medical devices or healthcare sector in Oman or the GCC region is an advantage.
