Job Description

Responsibilities:

Territory Strategy and Planning:

  • Collaborate with the Brand Manager to develop and execute a tailored strategy and business plan for your assigned product portfolio.
  • Identify growth opportunities and plan effective customer engagement activities.

Product Promotion and Sales Performance:

  • Promote pharmaceutical or nutraceutical products to healthcare professionals, ensuring strong product knowledge and delivering impactful presentations.
  • Achieve or exceed sales targets through effective territory management and relationship building.

Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with doctors, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, addressing customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.

Industry and Product Knowledge:

  • Stay updated on therapeutic areas, product portfolios, and competitor activities within your segment.
  • Continuously enhance your knowledge through training sessions, workshops, and self-study.

Events and Training:

  • Represent the company at medical conferences, workshops, and promotional events to enhance brand awareness.
  • Participate in and deliver training sessions to ensure consistent and accurate product messaging.

Reporting and Insights:

  • Monitor and report on sales performance, customer feedback, and market trends in your territory.
  • Provide actionable insights to the Brand Manager to refine strategies and address market needs.

Compliance and Ethical Conduct:

  • Ensure all activities comply with company policies.
  • Maintain the highest ethical standards in all professional interactions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or related field; an advanced degree in business is a plus.
  • 2-7 years of experience as a medical rep in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of the commercial pharmaceutical or nutraceutical marketplace.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Results-driven with a track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Familiarity with UAE healthcare regulations and industry standards is an advantage.
