Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations and staff scheduling for the Medical Records Department
  • Ensure medical records are complete, accurate, and accessible to authorized personnel only
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with hospital and MOH standards
  • Collaborate with IT and clinical teams to enhance documentation systems and workflows
  • Monitor and respond to patient and department feedback to continuously improve services
  • Develop statistical and performance reports for leadership review
  • Provide training, coaching, and performance evaluations for department staff
  • Participate in steering committees and promote CARE communication standards across teams

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in medicine or a related healthcare field
  • Minimum of 8–10 years of relevant experience in medical records or health information management
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with healthcare compliance standards and documentation best practices
  • Proficient in healthcare information systems and reporting tools
  • Bilingual proficiency (Arabic & English) preferred
