Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Medical Receptionist role based in Marsa Matrouh at Aslaan Ras El Hekma. The Medical Receptionist will greet patients and visitors, manage check-in and check-out processes, and ensure a welcoming and organized front desk environment. Responsibilities include scheduling and confirming appointments, handling incoming calls, directing inquiries to the appropriate departments, and maintaining accurate patient records in alignment with hospital procedures. The role also involves coordinating with clinical staff to support smooth patient flow, processing basic administrative forms, and safeguarding patient confidentiality. The Medical Receptionist will contribute to efficient operations and a positive patient experience in a fast-paced medical setting.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Receptionist Duties and Medical Office skills, including front desk operations and patient-facing administrative support.
  • Candidates should possess Appointment Scheduling skills, including managing calendars, coordinating follow-ups, and optimizing patient flow.
  • Candidates should possess effective Phone Etiquette skills for handling high call volumes, triaging inquiries, and providing clear, professional communication.
  • Candidates should possess knowledge of Medical Terminology to support accurate documentation and effective communication with clinical teams.
  • Additional beneficial qualifications include prior experience in a hospital or clinic, familiarity with electronic health record systems, strong organizational and multitasking abilities, and proficiency in basic computer applications.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, reliability, and a commitment to patient-centered service are essential; fluency in English and Arabic is an advantage.
