Role Description The Insurance Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in the Riyadh Region, responsible for managing insurance-related processes within Innova Pharmacy. Day-to-day tasks include verifying insurance coverage, processing claims and approvals, and coordinating with insurance companies and brokers to ensure accurate and timely reimbursements. The role involves supporting customers with insurance inquiries, explaining coverage details, and resolving issues related to prescriptions and healthcare services. The Insurance Specialist collaborates with finance and pharmacy teams to maintain accurate records, reconcile insurance transactions, and ensure compliance with relevant policies and regulations. This role requires consistent documentation, follow-up on pending claims, and contribution to process improvements that enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Manage insurance policy administration, including policy additions, deletions, endorsements, renewals, and cancellations.
- Prepare and negotiate insurance quotations based on client requirements and underwriting guidelines.
- Request, review, and maintain loss run reports to support policy renewals and risk assessments.
- Coordinate with insurance companies, brokers, and clients to ensure timely policy issuance and updates.
- Maintain accurate policy records and ensure compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Follow up on pending quotations, policy amendments, and documentation.
- Monitor premium payments and support collections by following up with clients on outstanding balances.
- Reconcile policy documentation with invoices and payment records.
- Provide prompt and professional customer service by responding to policy and coverage inquiries.
- Collaborate with underwriting, finance, and claims teams to ensure efficient policy management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Insurance, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience in insurance policy administration, quotations, and policy servicing.
- Knowledge of insurance terminology, underwriting processes, and policy documentation.
- Experience handling loss runs and policy endorsements.
- Familiarity with premium collections and accounts follow-up.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and insurance management systems.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
