Role Description The Direct Sales Specialist is a full-time hybrid role based in Cairo, Egypt, with some flexibility for working from home. This role is responsible for prospecting and contacting potential customers, presenting MetLife Egypt’s insurance and financial solutions, and closing sales in line with company targets. The Direct Sales Specialist will conduct needs assessments, explain product features and benefits clearly, and provide ongoing support to clients to ensure a positive experience and sustained customer satisfaction. Daily tasks include managing a personal sales pipeline, following up on leads, preparing proposals, updating customer records, and collaborating with colleagues to optimize sales results. The role also involves participating in training sessions, staying current on product updates and market trends, and adhering to company policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication skills, including the ability to present complex information clearly and build rapport with diverse customers.
- Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction skills to support clients before and after the sale and maintain long-term relationships.
- Proven Sales skills, with experience in meeting or exceeding individual targets and effectively managing a sales pipeline.
- Ability to deliver Training or product explanations to customers and, when needed, to team members to enhance understanding of MetLife solutions.
- Relevant experience in insurance, financial services, or a similar customer-focused industry is an advantage.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment.
- Proficiency in basic computer tools and CRM systems to track leads, opportunities, and customer interactions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Fluency in Arabic and good command of English to communicate with customers and internal stakeholders.
