Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Insurance Coder located in the United Arab Emirates. The Insurance Coder will be responsible for accurately coding medical records and insurance claims, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing patient records, assigning codes for diagnoses and procedures, ensuring proper documentation, and working closely with billing and clinical staff to resolve any coding discrepancies.

Qualifications

Proficiency in medical coding standards such as ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS
Understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
Familiarity with insurance claim processes and billing procedures
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication and collaboration skills
Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or equivalent certification is preferred
Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems is a plus
Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
Previous experience in an orthopedic or medical clinic is beneficial
