About the company

Nexus Insurance Brokers is a leading independent insurance brokerage in the UAE, known for its strong compliance culture, client-centric approach, and professional service standards.

We are currently seeking an Individual Medical Officer to join our Dubai office, responsible for managing individual medical insurance cases from initial enquiry through to policy issuance, while ensuring full compliance with DHA regulations and insurer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Case Assignment & Handling

• Manage assigned individual medical insurance cases from initial client enquiry through to policy issuance
• Prepare, review, and share accurate and competitive medical insurance quotes aligned with client needs
• Ensure all client requirements are clearly understood, documented, and reflected accurately in quotations
• Double-check all quotes, benefits, and client details to avoid discrepancies and ensure accuracy
• Handle policy issuance on NTAS, ensuring all regulatory and insurer requirements are met at each stage

Regulatory & Product Knowledge

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of DHA (Dubai Health Authority) regulations and mandatory health insurance requirements
• Ensure full understanding of insurer terms and conditions, policy benefits, exclusions, and underwriting requirements
• Ensure all cases are processed in line with regulatory guidelines, internal controls, and insurer partner policies

Job Requirements

• Receive and review client enquiries and create client profiles using InsureNex (in-house CRM)
• Generate and compare medical insurance quotes using rate tools and broker portals to ensure competitiveness
• Share quotes with clients, clearly explaining benefits, coverage, and key policy terms
• Guide clients in selecting the most suitable medical insurance plan based on their needs and eligibility
• Instruct clients on required documentation and support them through the document submission process
• Review all submitted documents to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance
• Confirm that the selected policy complies with DHA regulations and insurer terms and conditions
• Process policy issuance on NTAS once all requirements are met
• Ensure policy documents are shared with the client promptly after issuance
• Maintain accurate records by updating NTAS, InsureNex, and storing documents in the Individual Medical Shared Folders in line with record-keeping requirements

Qualifications

• Previous experience in individual medical insurance processing or administration within the UAE
• Strong working knowledge of DHA health insurance regulations
• Experience using broker portals, insurer rate tools, and CRM systems
• High attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance
• Ability to manage multiple cases while meeting turnaround times
• Strong communication and client-handling skills
