Job Description
Job Requirements:
- Graduate of a medical school recognized by the medical council of the country of origin with completion of appropriate internship programs.
- Postgraduate or equivalent qualification, based on residency training program, accepted by Saudi Council for Healthcare Specialties.
- Board Certificate in required specialty or equivalent and with 1-2 years Fellowship in related specialty as needed or 3 years after being board-certified.
- Valid SCFHS license as ICU Specialist
- Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience in critical care or ICU settings.
- Prior experience working with Long-term care hospitals, or related is highly desirable.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based critical care to ICU patients.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, physiotherapists, and other specialists.
- Monitor patient status continuously and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Educate patients and families about their conditions and care plans.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control protocols.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of critically ill patients upon admission and throughout their stay.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
- Administer medications, interventions, and therapies as prescribed.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations, providing life-saving interventions when necessary.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff and nursing personnel.
- Document all patient interactions, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the medical records.
- Participate in ICU quality assurance, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives
