Role Description The Home Care Physical Therapist is a full-time, on-site role based in Al Ain, providing physical therapy services to patients in their homes. Responsibilities include assessing patients’ functional status, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions to support mobility, strength, pain management, and overall independence. The therapist will monitor progress, adjust care plans as needed, and collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other allied health team members. Daily tasks also involve educating patients and family members on exercises, safe mobility techniques, and home safety, as well as documenting all assessments, treatments, and outcomes in accordance with clinical and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Physical Therapy, Rehabilitation, and Home Care, with the ability to design and implement tailored treatment plans in a home setting.
- Demonstrated skills in Medicine and Patient Care, including safe clinical decision-making, monitoring of patient status, and timely escalation of concerns.
- Valid degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution and eligibility for relevant professional licensure/registration in the UAE.
- Previous experience in home health care or community-based rehabilitation is preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Strong documentation, time-management, and organizational skills, with commitment to international quality and safety standards.
- Proficiency in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to patient homes within Al Ain as required.
