Technician
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform routine histopathology procedures
  (processing, embedding, microtomy, staining)
• Operate and maintain laboratory instruments
• Ensure quality control and follow QA programs
• Maintain compliance with CAP, CAHI and
  hospital policies
• Maintain accurate records and follow
  safety procedures

  REQUIREMENTS
  Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences
  or equivalent
• Valid SCHS registration/license
• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in histopathology
