The Health Services Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for patients. This role ensures smooth patient registration, efficient appointment scheduling, and exceptional customer service. The coordinator bridges communication between Arabic-speaking patients and clinical staff to guarantee a seamless healthcare journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Patient Reception: Greet patients warmly and manage the check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
  • Registration & Documentation: Accurately enter patient demographics and medical insurance details into the hospital system.
  • Appointment Management: Coordinate, schedule, and confirm medical appointments for various clinics and specialists.
  • Arabic Translation: Provide accurate verbal translation and guidance for Arabic-speaking patients during their visit.
  • Inquiry Handling: Answer phone calls and respond to patient questions regarding hospital services, timings, and policies.
  • Billing Coordination: Assist with basic billing inquiries, collect copayments, and direct patients to the financial or insurance departments.
  • Queue Management: Monitor waiting areas to ensure patient wait times are minimized and comfort is maximized.
Requirements

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Language Skill: Native or professional fluency in spoken and written Arabic is mandatory.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in reception, front desk, or customer service roles.
  • Industry Preference: Direct experience within a hospital, medical center, or healthcare setting is highly preferred.
  • Education: High School Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, conflict resolution, emotional empathy, and multitasking abilities.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in medical billing software, Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems, and MS Office.
