Job Description

Working closely and support nursing staff and other multidisciplinary team to provide the everyday non-clinical needs of the residents and families.

Responsibilities

  • Patient Care Support
  • Assist patients with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming).
  • Support patient mobility and safe handling techniques.
  • Help with patient activities, social engagement, and external trips.
  • Maintain clean, safe, and well-stocked patient environments.
  • Follow care plans under supervision of nurses/therapists.
  • Communication & Teamwork
  • Communicate clearly with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient care.
  • Contribute positively to a supportive team environment and mentor junior staff.
  • Professional Development
  • Participate in training, self-development, and performance reviews.
  • Maintain skills, knowledge, and professional standards.
  • Quality & Service Improvement
  • Contribute to service improvements, audits, and quality initiatives.
  • Support stock control, administrative tasks, and excellent patient experience.
  • Safety, Compliance & Ethics
  • Follow infection control, occupational health & safety, and emergency protocols.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to policies and UAE regulations.
  • Report incidents and ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Certified Nursing Aide / Caregiver (required)
  • Diploma in Nursing (preferred)
  • Valid BLS certification (mandatory)
  • At least 1 year of healthcare experience (preferably long-term care)
  • English fluency required; Arabic preferred
