Role Description The Head of Operations is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, responsible for overseeing daily operational activities across the hospital. This role ensures that clinical and non-clinical operations run efficiently, aligning processes with regulatory requirements, quality standards, and patient experience objectives. Key responsibilities include managing departmental performance, optimizing workflows, coordinating cross-functional teams, and implementing operational policies and procedures. The Head of Operations will monitor budgets, resource allocation, and utilization to support sustainable growth, while driving continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence. Collaboration with senior leadership, medical staff, and support functions is essential to maintain high standards of service and support the hospital’s strategic goals.
Qualifications
- Strong Operations Management experience, including process optimization and implementation of hospital or healthcare operational standards.
- Advanced Analytical Skills for interpreting performance data, identifying trends, and making evidence-based operational decisions.
- Proven Team Management capabilities, including leadership, mentorship, and cross-functional collaboration in a diverse workplace.
- Excellent Communication skills for engaging with clinical staff, management, and external stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
- Demonstrated Budgeting skills, including cost control, resource planning, and financial monitoring to support organizational objectives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
- Significant experience in healthcare operations, preferably within hospitals or specialized medical centers.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with UAE healthcare regulations and accreditation standards is required.
