We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate General Practitioner with a focused interest and experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology to join our esteemed medical team at Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Hospital in Dubai. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive primary healthcare services to female patients, with a particular emphasis on women’s health, prenatal care, postnatal care, routine gynecological examinations, and management of common obstetric and gynecological conditions. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide general medical care to female patients, performing examinations, diagnosing illnesses, and prescribing treatments.
• Conduct routine gynecological check-ups, including Pap smears and breast examinations.
• Offer comprehensive prenatal and postnatal care, including regular check-ups, monitoring fetal development, and providing education on pregnancy and childbirth.
• Manage common obstetric and gynecological conditions, referring to specialists as necessary.
• Provide family planning counseling and services.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
• Counsels patients on health maintenance and disease prevention.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including obstetricians, gynecologists, nurses, and allied health staff, to ensure holistic patient care.
• Participate in continuing medical education (CME) activities to stay updated with the latest advancements in obstetrics, gynecology, and general practice.
• Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and ethical guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with DHA regulations and standards.

Requirements

• Valid and current DHA license or eligibility letter is mandatory. Applications without this will not be considered.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of post-qualification experience as a General Practitioner, with significant exposure and interest in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Proven experience in managing common obstetric and gynecological cases.
• Excellent clinical skills, with a strong ability to diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to empathize with patients and build strong doctor-patient relationships.
• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
• Fluency in English is essential; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
