Job Title: GP Aesthetic Physician

Location: Dubai, UAE

Reporting To: Medical Director / Aesthetic Clinic Manager

Job Summary

The GP Aesthetic Physician provides non-surgical cosmetic treatments, combining clinical expertise with aesthetic judgment to deliver safe, effective, and patient-centered outcomes. The role requires strict adherence to DHA regulations, approved procedures within GP scope, and high standards of hygiene, documentation, and patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct detailed patient consultations, including facial assessment and aesthetic treatment planning

Perform non-surgical aesthetic procedures, including:

Botulinum toxin (Botox) injections

Dermal fillers (basic to moderate cases within GP scope)

Skin boosters and mesotherapy

PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) for face/hair

Chemical peels and basic skin rejuvenation treatments

Use aesthetic devices (as per DHA privilege approvals), such as:

Laser hair removal (if privileged)

Basic skin tightening / rejuvenation devices

Ensure proper patient selection, consent, and documentation

Manage complications and provide post-procedure care

Maintain DHA-compliant medical records (EMR)

Follow strict infection control and sterilization protocols

Stay within DHA-approved scope of practice for GP level

Upsell and cross-sell treatments ethically, contributing to clinic revenue targets

Collaborate with dermatologists or plastic surgeons for advanced cases

Qualifications & Credentials (Mandatory – Dubai)

MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution

Valid DHA License or DHA Eligibility Letter – General Practitioner

Completion of internship (minimum 1 year)

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Aesthetic Certifications (Highly Important in Dubai)

Certified training in:

Botulinum Toxin (Botox) administration

Dermal Fillers (HA fillers, basic techniques)

Additional certifications preferred:

PRP therapy

Mesotherapy

Laser safety certification (if handling devices)

Certifications should be from recognized and DHA-accepted training providers

Experience Requirements

Minimum 2–5 years of clinical experience

At least 1–2 years in aesthetic/cosmetic practice preferred

Demonstrated hands-on experience in injectables (portfolio/case log often required)

UAE experience is a strong advantage

Skills & Competencies

Strong facial anatomy knowledge and aesthetic sense

Precision in injection techniques and complication management

Excellent patient consultation and sales communication skills

Ability to manage patient expectations and deliver natural results

Familiarity with aesthetic trends and products in the UAE market

High ethical standards and attention to detail

Scope of Practice Note (Critical in Dubai)

GP Aesthetic Physicians are limited to non-surgical and basic-to-moderate aesthetic procedures

Advanced procedures (e.g., thread lifts, deep fillers, surgical interventions) may require:

All procedures must be approved under DHA privileging system
