About the Role
AMSA Healthcare is seeking a qualified, compassionate, and dedicated General Practitioner (GP) to join our healthcare team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to patients, monitoring their conditions, coordinating with consultants and healthcare professionals, and ensuring compliance with clinical standards and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
1.      Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, document clinical findings, and update medical records as required.
2.      Monitor patients’ conditions regularly and promptly report any significant changes to consultants while maintaining accurate progress notes.
3.      Provide medical care to inpatients, including responding to medical emergencies and coordinating care with consultants and other healthcare professionals.
4.      Communicate effectively with consultants, nurses, and other members of the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure continuity and quality of patient care.
5.      Administer medications and arrange or order diagnostic investigations as directed by consultants and in accordance with clinical protocols.
6.      Accurately document patient consultations, prescriptions, investigation results, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
7.      Maintain complete, accurate, and up-to-date patient medical records in accordance with organizational policies and applicable regulatory requirements.
8.      Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement programs, and patient safety initiatives to continuously enhance the quality of healthcare services.
9.      Keep up to date with current medical practices, treatment protocols, procedures, and emerging therapies through continuing professional development and relevant training.
10. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and evaluate comprehensive patient care plans.
11. Promote a culture of respect, empathy, professionalism, and open communication when interacting with patients, their families, and colleagues.
12. Comply with all clinical policies, protocols, procedures, infection control requirements, and applicable healthcare regulations to maintain a safe and effective clinical environment.
Requirements
·       MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
·       Valid DHA eligibility/license or eligibility to obtain the same.
·       Relevant clinical experience as a General Practitioner.
·       Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and patient-management skills.
