Job Description

General Practitioner

Full-time · Dubai, UAE · Home Healthcare & Telemedicine

About Vervé Wellness DXB

Vervé is a concierge private health practice in Dubai. We deliver physician-led care directly to our clients — at home, in the office, or wherever they are — supported by structured diagnostics, IV therapy, and long-term clinical programmes.

The role

You will be the physician our clients see most often. You will manage everyday presentations end to end — in person on home and office visits, and remotely by teleconsultation — and you will deliver and oversee the clinical services at the core of our practice: IV therapy, blood testing, and routine diagnostics. You will work alongside our nursing team and escalate complex cases to the Medical Director. This is a hands-on generalist role in a non-clinic setting: you go to the patient, or via tele consult – not the other way around.

What you will do

• Assess, diagnose, and manage everyday acute and chronic presentations for a private client base, on home, hotel, and office visits across Dubai.

• Deliver scheduled teleconsultations, including follow-ups and results reviews, with clear documentation of every encounter.

• Prescribe, supervise, and administer IV infusion therapy safely, including client assessment, formulation suitability, and management of adverse reactions.

• Order and interpret blood panels and routine diagnostics; perform or supervise phlebotomy on visits; communicate results and next steps to clients directly.

• Work closely with registered nurses on visit planning, clinical handovers, and follow-through on orders and prescriptions.

• Maintain complete, timely clinical records in our practice management system.

• Escalate red-flag and complex cases to the Medical Director and refer onwards to specialists where appropriate.

• Uphold DHA home healthcare regulations, infection control standards, and medication management protocols on every visit.

Requirements

• MBBS, MD, or equivalent primary medical qualification.

• Active DHA license as a General Practitioner, or DHA eligibility with credentialing in progress.

• Minimum 3 years’ post-registration experience in general practice, family medicine, or emergency/acute care.

• Confident, current competency in IV cannulation, infusion therapy, and phlebotomy.

• Comfort practicing independently outside a clinic environment, with sound judgement on when to escalate.

• Experience with electronic medical records handling.

• Fluent professional English; excellent bedside manner with a discerning international clientele.

• BLS/ACLS certification (current).

It helps if you have

• Prior home healthcare or concierge medicine experience

• An interest in preventive, functional, or longevity medicine — our clinical programmes are built on it.

• Additional languages relevant to an international client base.

Why this role

You will practice medicine the way it should be practiced: adequate time with every patient, senior clinical support, and a model built around outcomes rather than throughput. You will work within a growing practice at the center of preventive and longevity medicine in Dubai, with structured clinical programmes, modern diagnostics, and a team that takes standards seriously. Compensation is competitive and discussed at offer stage.
