General Practitioner – Home Health Services

Role Description This full-time, on-site role is based in Northern Emirates and focuses on providing home health services as a General Practitioner covering the Northern Emirates. The General Practitioner will conduct comprehensive patient assessments, manage primary care and family medicine cases, and develop personalized care plans for individuals receiving home-based services. Daily responsibilities include diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions, prescribing medications, coordinating with nursing staff and allied health professionals, and ensuring continuity of care. The role involves regular home visits, monitoring patient progress, maintaining accurate medical records, and adhering to clinical guidelines and regulatory requirements. The General Practitioner will also participate in patient and family education, contribute to quality improvement initiatives, and support training activities within the clinical team.

Qualifications

• Strong clinical expertise in Medicine and Primary Care, with the ability to manage a broad range of conditions in home health settings.
• Experience in Family Medicine, including preventive care, chronic disease management, and patient-centered care planning.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with Nursing and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated, multidisciplinary care.
• Experience in Training, mentoring, or educating patients, families, and clinical staff on health management and best practices.
• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) with valid licensure or eligibility to practice as a General Practitioner in the UAE.
• Previous experience in home health services, community care, or similar settings is highly beneficial.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with cultural sensitivity and the ability to work with diverse patient populations.
