Sheikh Sultan Bin Zayed Hospital is seeking an experienced Tier 1 Consultant Radiologist to join our growing Radiology Department. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in diagnostic imaging, with strong expertise across modalities such as X‑ray, Ultrasound, CT, and MRI, and a proven track record of providing accurate, timely, and patient‑centered radiology services. This role plays a key part in supporting physicians across all departments with high‑quality diagnostic insights.

Responsibilities

  • Perform and interpret a broad range of diagnostic imaging studies (based on credentialing).
  • Deliver timely, precise radiology reports to support clinical decision‑making.
  • Communicate critical findings effectively to referring clinicians.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Provide guidance to radiographers and support continuous departmental development.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards, imaging protocols, and regulatory compliance.
  • Contribute to quality improvement, audit activities, and clinical governance.

Qualifications

  • Tier 1 Consultant qualification (e.g., CCT, CCST, or equivalent recognized consultant-level credential).
  • Extensive experience in diagnostic radiology across major imaging modalities.
  • Strong analytical, diagnostic, and clinical interpretation skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Eligibility for DOH Consultant Radiologist licensure.
