Please note: This position is open to Saudi nationals only. Applicants must have a minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience after graduation (post-internship/post-qualification).

Role Description

Dar As Sihha Medical Center is seeking a General Dentist for a full-time, on-site position based in Dammam.

The successful candidate will perform comprehensive dental examinations, diagnose oral health conditions, and provide preventive, restorative, endodontic, periodontal, and minor surgical treatments. Responsibilities include developing evidence-based treatment plans, educating patients on oral hygiene and preventive care, maintaining accurate clinical documentation, and ensuring compliance with infection prevention and quality standards.

The General Dentist will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver safe, ethical, and patient-centred dental care while contributing to the centre’s continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Saudi nationals only.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Dentistry (BDS, DDS, DMD, or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
  • Valid registration and professional classification with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS).
  • Minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience after graduation (post-internship/post-qualification).
  • Demonstrated competency in general dentistry, including diagnosis, restorative dentistry, endodontics, basic prosthodontics, periodontal care, and routine oral surgery.
  • Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, and documentation skills.
  • Commitment to ethical, patient-centred care and adherence to infection prevention, quality, and patient safety standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Proficiency in English; Arabic is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with the following will be given preference:

  • Previous experience working in a Ministry of Health (MOH) healthcare facility or a CBAHI-accredited hospital or medical centre.
  • Experience participating in quality improvement initiatives, accreditation surveys, or compliance with healthcare quality standards.
  • Strong understanding of Saudi healthcare regulations and clinical governance.
  • Good digital literacy and familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) and dental practice management systems.
  • An active professional presence on LinkedIn or other professional social media platforms is considered an advantage.
