Job Description

Elemental Day Surgical Center (Dubai) – a top-tier day surgery center – is hiring a Specialist/Consultant Gastroenterologist experienced in EGD & colonoscopy under sedation and therapeutic endoscopic procedures. Our endoscopy suite features the latest Olympus platform (state-of-the-art imaging and accessories).

Key responsibilities

• Diagnostic gastroscopy (EGD) and colonoscopy under anesthesia/sedation
• Therapeutic endoscopy: polypectomy, EMR/ESD (as applicable), hemostasis, dilation, foreign body removal, PEG, and other minimally invasive GI interventions
• Pre-/post-procedure patient management, safety, and documentation
• Collaboration with anesthesia, surgery and nursing teams in a modern day-surgery setting

Requirements

• Medical degree + completed residency/fellowship in Gastroenterology
• Current DHA license (Specialist/Consultant) or eligibility to obtain
• 5+ years independent endoscopy experience, strong complication management
• Proven quality metrics: cecal intubation rates, adenoma detection rate, withdrawal times (nice to have)
• Excellent patient communication; English required (Arabic/Russian a plus)
