Job Title: Family Medicine Doctor – Home care

Department: Medical Operations – Home care

Work Location: Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia

Job Summary:

The Family Medicine Doctor will provide high-quality medical care services to patients in their homes according to approved care plans and medical standards. The role involves assessing patients’ medical conditions, diagnosing common illnesses, prescribing treatment plans, monitoring progress, and ensuring continuity of care while collaborating with the home healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct medical consultations, examinations, and assessments in patients’ homes.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Prescribe medications and treatment plans according to medical guidelines.
• Provide preventive healthcare services, including health screenings, immunizations, and lifestyle counseling.
• Monitor patients’ progress and adjust care plans when necessary.
• Request, interpret, and follow up on laboratory and diagnostic test results.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records in accordance with clinic policies and regulatory requirements.
• Educate patients and their families about medical conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care.
• Coordinate with nursing staff, specialists, and the home care team to ensure integrated care.
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
• Refer patients to specialists or hospitals when necessary.
• Follow all infection control, patient safety, and regulatory standards, including CBAHI.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Medicine (MBBS or equivalent).
• Valid classification and registration from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS).
• Previous experience in home health care is a must.
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional, compassionate, and patient-focused.

• Quality of medical care delivered at home and adherence to operational KPIs like response time, arrival time, patient review, and more.
• Accuracy and completeness of medical documentation.
• Patient and family satisfaction.
