Job Description

Core Responsibilities: –

  • Develop departmental plans and objectives, presenting them to the direct manager for approval to achieve overall management goals.
  • Determine the necessary budget to achieve the required objectives, proposing it to the direct manager for approval and adoption.
  • Establish departmental work procedures and policies to ensure smooth operations and efficiency.
  • Organize and approve work schedules for the department and its related divisions to ensure the achievement of set objectives within specified time frames.
  • Prepare and update hospital dietary schedules periodically, ensuring the highest quality service delivery.
  • Supervise the performance of the therapeutic nutrition department, determining dietary schedules for patients based on their health condition.
  • Supervise the kitchen department, ensuring the delivery of excellent service according to established quality standards.
  • Oversee cafeteria operations, ensuring compliance with specified guidelines and behaviors.
  • Supervise nutrition storerooms, ensuring the timely provision of departmental needs to meet the requirements of various divisions.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards, infection control within the department, and taking necessary actions to achieve this.
  • Maintain available resources, ensuring their optimal utilization to achieve the desired objectives.
  • Prepare regular reports on departmental performance and present them to the direct manager to contribute to decision-making.
  • Supervise departmental employees, providing guidance to ensure the execution of tasks within specified timelines and required quality standards.
  • Training, evaluating employee performance, and delegating tasks to achieve the desired objectives and achieve patient satisfaction levels.
  • Undertake any other tasks requested by the direct manager that do not conflict with hospital policies

Qualification: –

  • Bachelor’s degree in Tourism and Hospitality.
  • 8+ years of experience in Hospitality
