Job Description

A Dental Specialist provides advanced dental care in a specific area of dentistry, diagnosing and treating complex oral health conditions. The role involves conducting detailed dental assessments, developing specialized treatment plans, performing advanced dental procedures within the area of specialization, educating patients on oral health, and collaborating with general dentists and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality dental care.

Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from a recognized institution.
• Recognized postgraduate qualification in the relevant dental specialty, such as MDS or an equivalent qualification.
• Valid specialist dental license from the relevant healthcare authority, such as DHA, DOH, or MOHAP, where applicable.
• Previous clinical experience in the relevant dental specialty is preferred.
• Knowledge of advanced dental diagnosis, treatment planning, and specialized procedures.
• Ability to manage complex dental conditions within the scope of specialization.
• Familiarity with dental equipment, infection control, sterilization, and patient safety protocols.
• Strong clinical judgment, technical skills, and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, patient counseling, and teamwork skills.
