Job Description

• Assist dentists during examinations and dental procedures.
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, materials, and equipment before procedures.
• Ensure proper sterilization and infection-control procedures are followed at all times.
• Maintain patient records and update relevant clinical information accurately.
• Prepare patients for treatment and provide appropriate support before, during, and after procedures.
• Manage and organize dental instruments and supplies.
• Assist with dental X-rays where permitted and required.
• Coordinate with dentists, reception, and other team members to ensure smooth patient flow.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment.
• Follow all clinic policies, DHA requirements, and applicable healthcare standards.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Dental Assistant.
• Previous experience in a dental clinic or healthcare facility.
• DHA license or eligibility as a Dental Assistant is preferred.
• Good knowledge of dental instruments, procedures, sterilization, and infection-control standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional appearance and patient-focused attitude.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work effectively within a clinical team.
• Good command of English.

Preferred

Candidates with previous experience working in Dubai or the UAE healthcare sector will be given preference.
