Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage and provide comprehensive care for critically ill patients, including those with complex medical conditions.
  • Perform and interpret diagnostic tests, to guide treatment decisions.
  • Initiate and manage life support interventions, including mechanical ventilation, vasoactive medications, and continuous renal replacement therapy.
  • Provide expert consultation to other healthcare professionals regarding the management of critically ill patients.
  • Educate patients and their families about their condition, treatment plan, and prognosis.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, documenting patient progress and treatment interventions.
  • Stay current with the latest advances in critical care medicine through continuing education and research.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Must have Master’s Degree/Fellowship/DM/Board certified in Critical Care Medicine.
  • Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in a critical care setting post -Residency Program.
  • Must hold UAE Medical License (DHA/MOH) with specialty in “Critical Care Medicine” to start clinical practice in UAE.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in advanced airway management and mechanical ventilation techniques.
  • Exhibits strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills under pressure.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Must be fluent in English; additional language proficiency is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork.
