M42 is seeking a highly accomplished Tier 1 Consultant Urologist to join its multidisciplinary team. This position is intended for internationally recognized, Western-trained physicians with an established reputation for clinical excellence, leadership, and advanced surgical expertise. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive urological care, manage complex cases, perform advanced surgical procedures, and contribute to the continued growth of the Urology service line within M42. The Consultant will be expected to demonstrate the highest standards of clinical practice while supporting innovation, quality improvement, and exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities

  • Provide expert diagnosis, treatment, and management of complex urological disorders.
  • Deliver comprehensive outpatient, inpatient, surgical, and consultative urology services.
  • Perform advanced urological procedures, including minimally invasive and laparoscopic surgeries.
  • Manage complex stone disease, benign prostatic conditions, urinary tract disorders, male reproductive health conditions, and urological malignancies.
  • Lead multidisciplinary discussions and treatment planning for complex urological cases.
  • Collaborate closely with Oncology, Nephrology, Radiology, and other specialties to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Participate in the development and expansion of advanced urological services within M42.
  • Drive quality improvement initiatives and contribute to clinical governance activities.
  • Mentor junior physicians and support education, research, and professional development programs.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory and organizational requirements.
  • Participate in on-call coverage and provide expert support for urological emergencies.

Qualifications

  • Medical degree (MBBS, MBChB, MD, or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
  • Completion of a recognized residency training program in Urology.
  • Fellowship or advanced subspecialty training in Urology from a Tier 1 country.
  • Consultant qualification recognized by the Department of Health (DOH), Abu Dhabi.
  • Eligibility for or possession of a valid DOH License as Consultant Urology.
  • Minimum of 8–10 years of Consultant-level experience in a leading tertiary or academic medical center.
  • Demonstrated record of excellence in advanced urological surgery and complex case management.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and multidisciplinary collaboration skills.
  • Commitment to evidence-based medicine, patient safety, and clinical excellence.
