M42 is seeking an experienced Tier 1 Consultant Psychiatrist to join our expanding Behavioral Health team. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience managing adult patients across inpatient and outpatient settings, providing high‑quality, evidence‑based psychiatric care. This role is essential to supporting the mental health needs of our diverse patient population within an integrated, multidisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert psychiatric assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans for adult patients.
• Manage a range of psychiatric conditions across both inpatient and outpatient care settings.
• Lead multidisciplinary team discussions and contribute to holistic, patient-first care plans.
• Participate in on-call rotations when required to support continuity of care.
• Ensure documentation is accurate and compliant with regulatory standards.
• Contribute to quality improvement activities, clinical governance, and evidence-based practice.
  

Qualifications

• Tier 1 Consultant qualification (e.g., CCT or equivalent).
• Board‑certified Psychiatrist with a minimum of several years’ consultant-level experience.
• Strong background in managing complex adult mental health conditions.
• Experience working across inpatient and outpatient psychiatric services.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork abilities.
• Eligibility for DOH Consultant licensure.
