Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive physical evaluations for adult patients seeking medical attention for illnesses, injuries, or other health concerns
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including lab reports, imaging, EKGs, and other screenings, to facilitate accurate diagnoses
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s condition and symptoms
  • Perform minor surgical and non-surgical procedures as required
  • Prescribe medications in accordance with federal and state regulations, performing regular drug and therapy utilization reviews to ensure optimal patient care and prevent conflicts
  • Participate in interdisciplinary healthcare team meetings to discuss patient care and collaborate on treatment strategies
  • Work a flexible schedule, including four 10-hour shifts per week and occasional on-call responsibilities

Requirements

  • A minimum of three years of professional experience in internal medicine
  • Doctorate in Medicine with a specialization in Internal Medicine
  • Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Internal Medicine
  • Exceptional communication skills for effective interaction with patients and healthcare team members
  • Ability to perform accurately and efficiently in high-pressure and fast-paced environments
