Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive physical evaluations for adult patients seeking medical attention for illnesses, injuries, or other health concerns
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including lab reports, imaging, EKGs, and other screenings, to facilitate accurate diagnoses
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s condition and symptoms
- Perform minor surgical and non-surgical procedures as required
- Prescribe medications in accordance with federal and state regulations, performing regular drug and therapy utilization reviews to ensure optimal patient care and prevent conflicts
- Participate in interdisciplinary healthcare team meetings to discuss patient care and collaborate on treatment strategies
- Work a flexible schedule, including four 10-hour shifts per week and occasional on-call responsibilities
Requirements
- A minimum of three years of professional experience in internal medicine
- Doctorate in Medicine with a specialization in Internal Medicine
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Internal Medicine
- Exceptional communication skills for effective interaction with patients and healthcare team members
- Ability to perform accurately and efficiently in high-pressure and fast-paced environments
