Sheikh Sultan Bin Zayed Hospital (SSBZH) is seeking a Consultant Hematologist to join the clinical team on a part‑time basis (1-2 days per week). The role involves providing expert hematology consultation services with a focus on high clinical standards, patient‑centered care, and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert outpatient and inpatient hematology consultations as per scope of service
  • Diagnose and manage benign and malignant hematological conditions
  • Interpret and oversee hematological investigations, including laboratory results and diagnostic workups
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated patient care
  • Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement initiatives, and case discussions
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, DOH regulations, and international clinical standards

Qualifications

  • Board Certification / CCT / CCST / American Board or equivalent in Hematology
  • Eligible for or holding a valid DOH Abu Dhabi license as a Consultant Hematologist
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of post‑board or consultant‑level experience
  • Strong clinical expertise with excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Availability to work part‑time (1-2 days per week)
