Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant – Emergency Medicine to join our dynamic team at a leading healthcare facility delivering advanced acute and emergency care services.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultant-level emergency care in a high-acuity Emergency Department, managing complex and critically ill patients
• Lead resuscitations and acute care pathways (Stroke, STEMI, Trauma) with advanced clinical decision-making
• Deliver a broad range of core Emergency Medicine procedures; PoCUS competency highly advantageous
• Participate in a 24/7 consultant-led rota providing continuous on-site senior decision-maker coverage
• Provide clinical leadership, including supervision and mentorship of ED Specialists, GPs and medical students
• Actively contribute to clinical governance, audit, and quality improvement initiatives
• Support education and training programs within the department

Qualifications

• Consultant qualification in Emergency Medicine (recognized by MOH UAE)
• Proven experience in a high-acuity, high-volume Emergency Department with Stroke, STEMI, and Trauma exposure
• Advanced skills in resuscitation, procedural EM, and acute care pathways
• PoCUS competency and experience (desirable)
• Strong leadership, communication, and multidisciplinary teamwork skills
• Commitment to evidence-based practice, patient safety, and service development
