Zulekha Hospital is seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Pharmacist to lead and manage hospital pharmacy operations.

About the Role

The Chief Pharmacist / Head of Pharmacy will oversee the pharmacy department, ensuring the safe and effective use of medications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee inpatient, outpatient, and clinical pharmacy services
• Ensure compliance with relevant authority MOH/DHA regulations, hospital policies, and accreditation standards
• Promote safe medication practices and clinical pharmacy excellence
• Manage pharmacy staff, scheduling, training, and performance
• Oversee procurement, inventory control, and cost optimization
• Collaborate with medical and nursing teams to support patient-centered care
• Drive innovation, quality improvement, and digital pharmacy initiatives

Qualifications

• PharmD or equivalent degree.
• Licensure as a pharmacist.

Required Skills

• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in a hospital pharmacy setting.
• Familiarity with electronic health records.
