Job Description The Assistant – Patient Experience plays a key role in supporting the patient journey and enhancing overall patient satisfaction within the hospital. The role focuses on delivering excellent frontline service, assisting patients and visitors, and ensuring a smooth and positive experience across all touchpoints.
Responsibilities
- Support the Patient Experience team in delivering high-quality frontline patient services and administrative support across assigned departments
- Be present at the main hospital entrance to welcome, guide, and assist patients and visitors
- Greet and interact with patients and customers in a professional and courteous manner
- Assist patients with inquiries, directions, and service-related needs to ensure a smooth experience
- Collect structured patient feedback and data to support continuous improvement of the patient journey
- Support emergency response procedures, including Code Blue activation when required
- Perform any additional duties assigned by the supervisor to support hospital operations
Qualifications
- Diploma in any discipline (minimum requirement)
- Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or healthcare support role is preferred
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in English and Arabic (mandatory)
- Strong customer service orientation with a patient-first approach
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Good attention to detail with basic data entry and computer skills
- Ability to handle office equipment (computer, printer, fax, etc.)
- Positive attitude, professional appearance, and welcoming personality
- Willingness to learn and develop through continuous training
