Saudi Electronic University (SEU) was established on August 10, 2011, by King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, as a government educational institution. SEU offers undergraduate and graduate degree programs, along with lifelong learning courses, complementing other universities under the Higher Education Council.

The university includes the following colleges:

• College of Administration and Finance Sciences
• College of Computing and Informatics
• College of Health Sciences
• College of Science and Theoretical Studies

SEU is based in Riyadh, with branches in other regions as part of its expansion plan. The university aims to achieve national and international academic accreditation to ensure the highest standards of education.

SEU provides higher education using modern learning models, including electronic and blended learning, which combines traditional classroom instruction with technology-based learning.
