Job Description
Position Objective
Provide high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic services to patients with speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders on a part-time basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Assessment: Evaluate speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing skills.
- Diagnostics: Administer standardized tests to determine specific communication disorders.
- Treatment Plans: Develop individualized, evidence-based therapeutic intervention plans.
- Therapy Delivery: Conduct therapy sessions for pediatric and adult patients.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate, timely electronic medical records for all patients.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with neurologists, pediatricians, and ENT specialists.
- Family Education: Counsel families on home-care strategies and progress tracking.
Requirements
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience: At least 3 years of post-qualification hospital experience.
- Licensure: Valid Dubai Health Authority (DHA) License or DHA Eligibility Letter.
- Skills: Strong bilingual communication skills (Arabic and English preferred).
- Competencies: Compassionate patient care, time management, and cultural awareness.
