Role Description The Senior Pharmacist is a full-time, on-site role based at El Khabiry Pharmacy in Qesm 1st 6 October. The Senior Pharmacist will oversee daily pharmacy operations, including dispensing medications, reviewing prescriptions for accuracy, and counseling customers on proper medication use, side effects, and interactions. This role includes supervising pharmacy staff, ensuring adherence to professional and legal standards, and maintaining accurate records and inventory. The Senior Pharmacist will collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals, support quality assurance initiatives, and help optimize workflows to deliver efficient, customer-centered service.
Qualifications
- Strong clinical pharmacy knowledge, including pharmacology, drug interactions, and proper dosage guidelines.
- Proficiency in prescription processing, medication dispensing, and pharmacy software systems.
- Ability to lead and supervise pharmacy staff, manage workflow, and support training and performance development.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills for counseling patients and collaborating with healthcare providers.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills for maintaining records, inventory control, and regulatory compliance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or PharmD and valid pharmacist license as required by local regulations.
- Experience in community or retail pharmacy settings, with senior or supervisory experience preferred.
- Commitment to ethical practice, continuous learning, and delivering patient-centered care.
