Role

This role as the Registered Nurse will see you:

  • Coordinate client care needs, including assessment, case management and developing individualised Care Plan.
  • Provide complex clinical care including but not limited to wound dressing; administration of medications; condition assessments and referrals.
  • Recognise changing needs of residents and liaise with resident, families, and other members of the multidisciplinary teams regarding their care delivery and goals of care.
  • Perform specialised clinical nursing tasks within the scope of practice of a Registered Nurse.
  • Supervise and lead care staff and Enrolled Nurses as part of a wider team.

About You

  • Possess a Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification.
  • Hold a current AHPRA registration.
  • Possess excellent clinical knowledge and skills.
  • Ability to relate to the elderly with empathy and understand their needs.
  • Demonstrate flexible decision making and advanced problem solving skills.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills to effectively plan and prioritise work tasks.
  • Enjoy building positive relationships with residents, their families and staff.
