Role
This role as the Registered Nurse will see you:
- Coordinate client care needs, including assessment, case management and developing individualised Care Plan.
- Provide complex clinical care including but not limited to wound dressing; administration of medications; condition assessments and referrals.
- Recognise changing needs of residents and liaise with resident, families, and other members of the multidisciplinary teams regarding their care delivery and goals of care.
- Perform specialised clinical nursing tasks within the scope of practice of a Registered Nurse.
- Supervise and lead care staff and Enrolled Nurses as part of a wider team.
About You
- Possess a Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification.
- Hold a current AHPRA registration.
- Possess excellent clinical knowledge and skills.
- Ability to relate to the elderly with empathy and understand their needs.
- Demonstrate flexible decision making and advanced problem solving skills.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills to effectively plan and prioritise work tasks.
- Enjoy building positive relationships with residents, their families and staff.
