Job Purpose:

Performs and interprets Radiologic diagnostic and therapeutic services.

Key Responsibilities And Duties

  • Performs Specific Radiology and diagnostic imaging duties and tasks below as per his/her assigned clinical privileges.
  • Supervises and monitors radiological examinations, instructing the technicians and sonographers to modify the studies according to the findings.
  • Reports results of diagnostic Radiology test in a timely manner, using scientific language and standard format that are complaint with Fakeeh care policies and procedures.
  • If privileged to perform interventional radiology procedures, follows Fakeeh care policies and procedures during pre-procedure preparation of patients, during the actual procedure and post procedure.
  • Ensures proper relevant consents and questionnaires are filled prior to the examination or interventional radiology procedures).
  • Attends meetings as appropriate and contributes ideas for improving efficiency, productivity and patient satisfaction.
  • Supervises and monitors the delivery of radiological services providing guidance regarding patient care and safety.
  • Shares in departmental staff meetings and maintain minutes of all meetings.
  • Complies with all organizational policies regarding ethical business practices and reports any issues related to safety in the immediate work area i.e. Radiation Hazards.
  • Supervises and monitors the delivery of healthcare. Provides guidance regarding patient care when indicated.
  • Develops thorough understanding of Fakeeh Care policies and procedures and effectively participates in its execution.
  • Provides comprehensive radiological reports outlined in privileging form.
  • Cooperates with education Department in giving proper education to patients.
  • Engages in education and research.

Requirements

Skills And Abilities

  • Must be clearly to communicate with patients and their families, physicians and non-medical staff
  • Must be able to effectively present information to a public group and Fakeeh Care top management
  • Should possess good organization skills and able to work in high stress situations

Experience

Completion of 3 years’ of experience within the field of specialty, in recognized hospitals or health centers

Education

Medical Degree (MBBS, MD, or equivalent). Relevant board certification.

Language

Excellent command of oral and written English and prefer Arabic

Licenses / Certifications

License for practice as per the regional health regulatory authority e.g. (SCFHS / DHA), BLS and advanced license if applicable.
