Job Summary:

Ensure efficient procurement processes by evaluating suppliers, products and services, negotiating contracts, and material planning for all MP & MGT products by developing MRP and applying accurate inventory management system as well as ensuring cost-efficiency.

Duties will include but not limited to:

1. Develop and maintain material requirement plans (MRP) based on production schedule and forecasts.
2. Coordinate with planning team to ensure timely production schedules to fulfill forecasted sales plans.
3. Complete awareness of the Inventory Management System (Implying the retest & nearly expired RM) to ensure accurate re-ordering point.
4. Regular following up Oracle reports of all nationally purchased RM & PK in order to monitor the warehouse stock levels and maintain adequate stock to support ongoing operations.
5. Sourcing of local vendors with preliminary evaluation based on criteria.
6. Review prices and product specifications from various suppliers to determine which would provide the best deal.
7. Follow up with technical team to ensure that RM complies with their specifications.
8. Develop and control PO delivery compliance with respect to cost, quality, quantity, and specifications.
9. Track shipping & delivery of P.O with reviewing copy of all documents.
10. Follow up payment process with Finance Dep.
11. Follow up with local suppliers to ensure prompt delivery to warehouses.
12. Regular Vendor Evaluation (by 3D Vendor Evaluation approach) to assure suppliers deliver materials and services in accordance with standards of price, time, quantity and quality agreed upon.
13. Set business meetings with strategic suppliers to ensure sustainable supply.
14. Coordinates routinely with departments to ensure effective and timely processes and teamwork.
15. Implementation of cost saving and cost reduction strategies.
16. Maintain an accurate Cost of Goods for each finished goods SKU ensuring optimum profitability.
17. Consolidate periodic reports, with respect to the unit activities and achievements, and submit them to the Supervisor.
18. Develop and implement supportive systems with the supervisor that help all supply chain processes be more efficient to ensure smooth flow and production continuity.
19. Ensure compliance with specific KPI defined in a specific period.
20. Full compliance with procurement activities along Procurement Policies and SOP.

Job requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree of Pharmaceutical Science
• 6-9 years of experience in material planning function is a must
• Good level of understanding for the Supply chain process
• Excellent communication & negotiation skills
• Excellent command in English language
