Job Description

Job purpose
To provide a physiotherapy service to patients, pediatrics, adult orthopedics, spinal injuries and rehabilitation in the comfort of patient’s home premises.

Duties and responsibilities
· Organizing therapeutic physical exercise sessions.
· Helping patients recover from accident, illness or injury
· Providing massages.
· Using specialist techniques such as electrotherapy and ultrasound.
· Collecting statistics.
· Liaising with professionals such as doctors and nurses.
· Providing education and advice about exercise and movement
· Keeping up to date with the latest advancements in the profession
· To undertake an assessment of patients, using clinical reasoning skills and manual assessment Techniques to provide a physiotherapy diagnosis of their condition.
· To be responsible for planning and prioritizing your own patient case load.
· Conducting PT home visits.
· Follow the dress code and SmartMed’s code of conduct.
· Take care of patient urgent needs around the year
· Complete documents and patient files and medical history.

Qualifications
Bachelors’ degree in physiotherapy (or equivalent)
Licensed, or eligible to be licensed, as a physiotherapist in Saudi Arabia
Minimum of one-year post qualification occupational therapy experience.
Up to date experience of a range of conditions and interventions.

Ensuring existing and potential members “right to privacy and confidentiality” by never discussing in public areas or in front of other members any medical case related to existing or potential member.
Sensitive information related to existing and potential members can only be shared with third parties after obtaining the necessary clearance from the direct manager and attending doctor and ensuring that an NDA (non-disclosure agreement has been signed).

Physical requirements
Work is performed in various health care settings and not limited to clinics, doctor’s offices and patient’s premises.
