Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Pharmacist role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Pharmacist will prepare and dispense compounded medications according to prescriptions and established compounding protocols, ensuring accuracy, stability, and quality of all formulations. Day-to-day responsibilities include verifying prescriptions, performing clinical checks for drug interactions and contraindications, counseling patients on proper medication use, and documenting interventions in compliance with regulatory and professional standards. The role also involves collaborating with prescribers to optimize therapy, maintaining inventory and ordering supplies, monitoring cold chain and storage conditions, and adhering to safety and infection-control procedures. The Pharmacist will contribute to patient and community education efforts on hormone therapy, nutritional supplements, and lifestyle-based health maintenance, while supporting continuous improvement of pharmacy workflows and quality assurance programs.

Qualifications

  • Licensed Pharmacist (or eligibility for licensure) in the United Arab Emirates; Bachelor’s or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited institution.
  • Experience or strong interest in compounding pharmacy, including familiarity with Biologically Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy and customized dosage forms.
  • Solid knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, contraindications, and best practices in clinical pharmacy, particularly in hormone therapy and nutritional supplementation.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide clear, empathetic patient counseling and to collaborate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy in calculations and documentation, and commitment to quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
  • Proficiency in using pharmacy management systems and related digital tools; comfortable working with standardized operating procedures and safety protocols.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage a high volume of prescriptions and patient consultations in a busy on-site setting.
  • Fluency in English; additional language skills (such as Arabic) are an advantage. Prior experience in the Middle East or in a compounding pharmacy setting is preferred but not required.
