Responsibilities
- Adheres to the policies, procedures, and clinical standards while ensuring full compliance with regulatory and accrediting bodies.
- Follows and implements evidence-based standards of care in all periodontal assessments, treatments, and surgical interventions.
- Diagnoses and manages periodontal diseases, including gingivitis and periodontitis, through non-surgical and surgical therapies.
- Performs advanced periodontal procedures such as flap surgeries, bone grafts, guided tissue regeneration, and soft tissue grafting.
- Places and maintains dental implants, ensuring optimal osseointegration and long-term function.
- Collaborates with multidisciplinary dental teams—including prosthodontists, orthodontists, and oral surgeons—to deliver integrated patient care.
- Educates patients on oral hygiene practices, periodontal maintenance, and post-treatment care to prevent recurrence.
- Maintains accurate documentation, treatment planning, and follow-up care in accordance with institutional and regulatory requirements.
- Participates in quality improvement initiatives and continues professional development through training in new periodontal and implantology techniques.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS), Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS), Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD), or an equivalent degree from a recognized institution.
- A recognized postgraduate residency or specialty training program in Periodontics, typically spanning a minimum of three years.
- At least two years of post-specialty clinical experience in Periodontics.
- Must hold a valid License/Registration to practice in their home country and/or country of last employment (Where applicable).
- 2 years or plus experience is preferred
- Arabic Speaking is a requirement.
