Job Description
Summary:
Assists with the supervision of the Clinical Neurophysiology Section, and maintains designated responsibility for
a defined procedural area.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Performs clinical/technical duties including pro-rata on-call, including all tasks related to the following
procedures: Electroencephalography(EEG), Evoked Potentials (EPs), Nerve Conduction
Studies(NCS)/Electromyography(EMG), Long Term Monitoring(LTM), intraoperative Neurophysiological
Monitoring (IONM), Pulse Oximetry(Pox), Autonomic Studies and Sleep Studies
2. Assists with the supervision of the day-to-day service of the Neurophysiology Laboratory as assigned
3. Acts as a supervisor during absences of the Manager, Neurophysiology Laboratory
4. Assists with ensuring that all laboratory equipment are in safe working condition and laboratory materials and
supplies are available
5. Participates in the development and modification of laboratory policies and standards of practice. Assists with
ensuring that all Hospital and laboratory policies and standards of practice are followed.
6. Assists with the implementation of quality management and quality improvement programs in the laboratory
7. Acts as a liaison between the medical and technical staff of the Laboratory. Liaises with other Departments
at the Hospital as required.
8. Follows all Hospital’s related Policies and Procedures.
9. Participates in self and others’ education, training and development, as applicable.
10. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:
Education Master’s, Bachelor’s, or Associate Degree/Diploma Degree in Clinical
Neurophysiology or other related discipline is required.
Experience Required:
Four (4) years of related experience including two (2) years in a seniority position
with Master’s or six (6) years with Bachelor’s Degree of similar requirements is
required or eight (8) years with Associate Degree/ Diploma or program is required.
Other Requirements/
Certifications:
Current Registration from country of origin and Saudi Commission for Health
Specialties (SCHS) is required.
Board registration in EEG/Electro diagnostics or equivalent is required.
Certification through examination from an accredited Electro neurodiagnostic
Program
