Medical Sales Representative

Job Description

We are looking to hire a qualified Medical Representative with at least 2 years’ experience with Fertility Clinics, and a background in promoting and selling OB/GYN products.

Only candidates with UAE experience will be contacted.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales and Promotion:

  • Arrange appointments with doctors, pharmacists and hospital medical teams, which may include pre-arranged appointments or regular ‘cold’ calling.
  • Promote and sell OB/GYN products to healthcare professionals, including physicians, pharmacists, and hospital staff.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets and increase market share within the assigned territory.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets, as per the agreed budgets and timeline.
  • Plan work schedules and weekly and monthly timetables and discuss future targets with the sales manager.
  • Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.

2. Relationship Building:

  • Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with healthcare professionals through regular visits, meetings, and communication.
  • Provide tailored product information and educational resources to meet the specific needs of healthcare professionals and their patients.

3. Market Intelligence:

  • Gather market intelligence and competitor insights to identify opportunities and challenges within the pharmaceutical market.
  • Report feedback from healthcare professionals regarding product performance, market trends, and customer needs to internal teams for strategic planning and product development.

4. Training and Education:

  • Stay informed about industry trends, developments, and regulatory guidelines related to pharmaceutical products and healthcare practices.
  • Attend training sessions, conferences, and workshops to enhance product knowledge, sales skills, and professional development.

5. Administrative Duties:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market data.
  • Prepare and submit timely sales reports, forecasts, and expense reports to management as required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, biology, medical background
  • Proven track record in OB/GYN sales with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the UAE.
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical products and industry regulations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ambition and the desire to do well.
  • General IT skills: MS Office, power point, outlook
  • Valid UAE driving license and own car.
