Job Overview:

A Healthcare licensing officer will manage and ensure timely processing of all professional and facility licensing activities in compliance with DHA, MOHAP, SHCC and DOH regulations, while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to avoid penalties and operational disruptions.

Key Responsibilities:

Professional Licensing

• Process new, transfer, renewal, and cancellation of professional licenses (Pharmacists and other healthcare professionals) under DHA / MOHAP / DOH.
• Handle DataFlow verification and assessment processes as required.

Facility Licensing

• Process new applications, renewals, cancellations, and amendments (name change, owner change, location change, activity change, etc.) for healthcare facilities under DHA / MOHAP / DOH.
• Coordinate and support DHA/MOHAP/DOH inspections as required.

Regulatory Coordination

• Liaise with DHA / MOHAP / DOH offices for technical support, clarifications, and issue resolution.
• Cascade regulatory communications, circulars, and updates to internal stakeholders and pharmacy managers.

Compliance & Renewals

• Ensure timely renewals of all professional and facility licenses to avoid penalties or service interruptions.
• Send renewal reminders and notifications to staff in advance.

Insurance & Permits

• Process malpractice insurance for all licensed professionals.
• Handle Tatmeen registration, renewal, amendments, and cancellation.
• Process home delivery, online delivery, and 24-hour operation permits for pharmacies.

Finance & Documentation

• Coordinate with the Accounts/Finance team for fund requests, payments, and timely submission of invoices and bills.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date licensing records and documentation.

Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelors degree, Healthcare qualification is preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience managing licensing activities of an Pharmaceutical/healthcare entity in UAE.
• Knowledge of MOHAP Pharmaceutical Licensing Portal
• Knowledge of latest PQR in UAE.
• Experience in handling licensing processes with CDA
• Bilingual is preferred. (Arabic)
